  What is one thing you'd like to develop in yourself? One thing I'd like to develop in myself is not being afraid to show my creative process and designs. I take peoples criticism to heart that I believe it shuts me out when it comes to my creative process. When this happens I stop showing my ideas. During this class I feel like I came out a lot of my comfort zone and spoke my mind and most of my projects without being afraid of criticism. Criticism is ok and I shouldn't let it get to my head especially if I want to go into architecture. 

Share something that you love about Colorado that inspires your creativity The one thing I love about Colorado is its nature and how colorful it can get especially during sunset times. Every summer day I loved to sit and wait for the sunset on top of a hill or in the mountains. This sparks up and inspires my creativity by its peacefulness and how the different shades of colors add to the beauty of nature. My favorite place to go to when I have time is Chautauqua park. The background of the colorful sunset hiding behind the mountains create such an amazing view.   

  Think of a memorable building you have experienced. What adjective would you use to describe how you felt? What qualities or attributes of the space contributed to this feeling? I really don't have a memorable building that I can think of or remember just the buildings I've been to a lot here on campus. The north building is one of the 2 buildings I spend most of my time in especially to do homework while I wait for my next class to start. When I first started here the north building was just an ordinary building didn't pay much attention to the atmosphere here. As I started to come here and actually take time to do homework and focus it became my new place to do homework or just hang around in. The adjective Id like to describe this building is calm . Why I say the north building is calm its due to how the atmosphere is. You're in your own little space with other students who are doing the same thing as you. No one is judging and theres not really much chaos happenin

What are you majoring, and how did you decide on your major? As of right now, I'm still undeclared but I'm interested in architecture. I came to college not knowing for sure what I wanted to be. I took time to myself alone and thought about what interests me and it took me back to my childhood. Buildings and design have always been a part of my life due to my dad's job in construction. As a child, I have been exposed to designing and constructing different buildings. I caught my interest in architecture by my dad took me to his work sites every Sunday and showed me the blueprints the architects designed. What we know now downtown is the Davita building that's one of the many buildings my dad built with his team including the newly extended part of the Denver Art Museum the Lanny & Sharon Martin building. My dad showed me his love for designing and constructing and has stuck with me to this day. That's how I decided on pursuing my education to being an architect.

  Write about how your thoughts and understanding of creativity have shifted this semester. Through this class, I have now a different perspective on what creativity is. When I first into this class I believe on people who were creative showed creativity like musicians, artists, people smarter than me, etc... Now that we are almost done with this class I've seen creativity is something you practice and learn. Anyone can be creative with anything. Also, imagination plays a huge part in my view to embrace your own creativity. It doesn't have to be artists and musicians who are only good at being creative. 

For my paper, I decided to study Selena Quintanilla Perez. Most of the things that I researched were what I already knew about it, so I already had prior knowledge but what did surprise me was how her song "dreaming of you" has over 2 million airplays, especially in the English album where her label didn't believe she would get big with or make much money.
