week 12
What are you majoring, and how did you decide on your major?
As of right now, I'm still undeclared but I'm interested in architecture. I came to college not knowing for sure what I wanted to be. I took time to myself alone and thought about what interests me and it took me back to my childhood. Buildings and design have always been a part of my life due to my dad's job in construction. As a child, I have been exposed to designing and constructing different buildings. I caught my interest in architecture by my dad took me to his work sites every Sunday and showed me the blueprints the architects designed. What we know now downtown is the Davita building that's one of the many buildings my dad built with his team including the newly extended part of the Denver Art Museum the Lanny & Sharon Martin building. My dad showed me his love for designing and constructing and has stuck with me to this day. That's how I decided on pursuing my education to being an architect.
Architect is definitely a fire job and it definitely would be a good career path to go down. Good luck on completing that degree!
ReplyDeletearchitecture is also one of my many interest. it is really cool how you have had the opportunity to get a feel of what its like to be into architecture and the hard work that goes into it.
